To use voice playback we recommend enabling the native audio playback features for your operating system or downloading an audio playback extension.
The UBc site is compatible with native audio playback and navigation capabilities on popular operating systems (iOS, Android, Windows, Linux). If you want audio playback without using the native system functions you can download an extension for your favorite browser from specific extension stores.

Operating systems and audio playback features
Activating the native audio playback function requires knowledge of the operating system used. With this in mind, below are listed activation instructions for the most popular operating systems.
Windows
The native audio playback feature in Windows is called Narrator and can be enabled from Settings > Accessibility > Narrator.
Android
Android's native audio playback feature is called TalkBack and can be enabled from Settings > Accessibility > TalkBack.
iOS (iPhone)
The native audio playback feature in iOS mobile is called VoiceOver and can be turned on from Settings > Accessibility > Vision > VoiceOver.
macOS (computers and laptops)
The native audio playback feature in macOS mobile is called VoiceOver and can be turned on in System Preferences > Accessibility > Vision > VoiceOver.
Linux
The audio playback feature can be installed on Linkux using the terminal. One of the most popular audio playback applications is called eSpeak and can be installed using the following command: sudo apt install espeak
